This site is intended to serve as a medium of conversation between myself and all of the entrepreneurs out there looking for some encouragement or guidance in their quest for success. I am specifically targetting young entrepreneurs because I am a young entrepreneur, and I believe that my stories, successes, and failures should offer some perspective to all of you readers looking to broaden your horizons, strike out on something new, or share the woes of a tough market with someone who has, and is, going through the same.
Just a little bit of qualifying information:
I am 26 years old. I have a Theoretical Physics degree, with minors in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, and Professional Communications (written and spoken). I am sure that at some point I will have occasion to qualify my choices in academic studies, but this is neither the place nor time.
I have started, in my life, 9 separate businesses. Of those 9 businesses, I have earned a profit from only 2 of them. The remaining 7, through luck and good planning, were break even investments for me so far; with 3 of them still alive and kicking. I have not lost money on an investment or business yet in my life. But there is still plenty of time!
I am currently working (at a desk job), while conducting business in the 3 above listed businesses. 1 of them is a Retail Sales business, earning me a meager profit (far less than is required to survive). 1 of them is an Internet Sales business, which has not earned me a penny yet, but so far has managed to break even on almost everything I have done with it. The third is a Real Estate Investment business, which is taking the most of my business energy and time, and currently is offering me the greatest degree of excitement.
Hey saw your site out there about young entrepreneurs. Send me an email and I can send you an invite to our brand new young entrepreneurs social network. It’d be a great place to promote yourself give/share advice, etc.
